2027 Prep Information Morning

Rosanna Primary School was delighted to welcome prospective parents and students to the first of two Prep Information Mornings, an engaging and informative event that offered a glimpse into life at our school.

While parents gathered in Chandler Hall for presentations, our youngest visitors were busy in the music room, enjoying a range of activities including colouring, constructing, and imaginative play. This provided a relaxed and welcoming start to the morning for all.

The Principal, Jeff Jackson, led the formal presentation, outlining class structures and sharing insights drawn from the school’s learning and wellbeing data. The Assistant Principal, Justine Convery, followed, detailing the comprehensive wellbeing approaches in place at Rosanna Primary, including a tiered response to student needs and our School Wide Positive Behaviours framework.

Our dedicated Prep teachers, Anna Dodd and Bron Taylor, gave families a clear and engaging picture of what a typical day in Prep looks like, highlighting the supportive and stimulating environment we create for our youngest learners. Adding a valuable parent perspective, Hayley Nash spoke about her family’s experience and the strong sense of connection and engagement within the school community.

Families also enjoyed guided tours that weaved through classrooms, offering the opportunity to see learning in action and to speak directly with teachers and school leaders. These conversations provided valuable insight and helped bring the Rosanna Primary experience to life.

And of course, for many of our younger guests, the sausage BBQ was a clear highlight of the day!
