Students from Prep to Year 6 visit the library as part of their learning program. Experiences are planned to be age‑appropriate and build gradually over time.
In the early years, students focus on listening to stories, learning how to borrow books and exploring texts together. As students move through the year levels, they develop greater independence in choosing books, using reference materials and engaging with simple research tasks.
Library sessions may include shared reading, discussion, exploration of different text types and guidance in how to find and care for books.
