Collaboration Day Celebrates Values

Collaboration Day was a huge success! Students loved collaborating in a multiage activity. They had lots of fun trying to build the tallest straw tower in the whole school. Every classroom was calm, engaged and focused as groups worked together.

Students also completed reflections describing collaboration and were able to identify the skills needed for effective collaboration. They spoke of the importance of listening to others, sharing ideas, working together and problem solving.

We're all looking forward to hearing more about Collaboration Day from the Values Captains at assembly on Monday.
