Easter Fundraising Brings Our Community Together

The spirit of giving has been on full display at Rosanna Primary School, with both our parent community and students coming together to support meaningful causes this Easter.

Our Family and Friends of Rosanna Primary (FORPS) group has once again led a wonderful Easter raffle initiative. With generous contributions of chocolate eggs, colouring books, and a variety of other treats, FORPS created an impressive collection of hampers. Thank you to everyone who donated items or supported the fundraiser by purchasing raffle tickets—your contributions help continue this much-loved tradition, with funds going towards special projects that benefit our school community. We encourage families to visit the FORPS page to learn more about their ongoing work.

At the same time, our students have shown great initiative and compassion through their own Easter fundraising effort. Working together, they have organised the sale of Easter buns, raising money in support of State Schools’ Relief. This organisation provides essential items such as new school uniforms, shoes, and educational supplies to students in need attending government schools, assisting families experiencing financial hardship or disadvantage.

A special thank you goes to the friendly team at Rosanna Baker’s Delight for supporting this student-led initiative.

We are proud of the generosity and community spirit shown by both our families and students—an inspiring example of how small actions can make a big difference.
